David L. Moss
David L. Moss is the principal of the firm, which he founded in 2001. An exceptional trial attorney, David has almost 20 years’ experience handling complex real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, corporate and business transactions, bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings, and contract negotiations and dispute settlements.
With impressive expertise in New York landlord-tenant law, David had successfully represented management companies, private landlordsand tenants in a range of non-payment, holdover, drug eviction, Housing Part, Article 78 and Department of Housing Preservation and Development proceedings.David also has extensive experience litigating cases under the Rent Regulation Stabilization Law and Code, Rent Control and Loft Laws.
In addition to his litigation practice, David specializes in negotiating and securing tenant buy-out agreements and concluding residential and commercial closings. He also effectively handles employment contract disputes, and other business challenges faced by his clients. David received a Bachelor of Arts from the New York University in 1986, and with aaJuris Doctor and Honors Cum Laude from the New York Law School.
In 1995, David was admitted to the New York Bar and the U.S. District Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is currently an active member of the New York County Lawyers’ Association.
